2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ITEMGO TECHNOLOGY LTD.

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service.

3. Eligibility

  • Be legally resident in the United Kingdom
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into contracts
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
  • For drivers: Hold a valid UK driving licence and appropriate insurance

4. Accounts & Registration

To use our Service, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activities that occur under it.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Customer Terms

As a customer, you may use ItemGo to request delivery and moving services. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate pickup and delivery information
  • Be available at the scheduled time
  • Pay the quoted fare plus any applicable fees
  • Treat drivers with respect and courtesy

Cancellations made more than 1 hour before pickup are free. Cancellations within 1 hour may incur a fee up to the full fare.

6. Driver Terms

To provide services as a driver on ItemGo, you must:

  • Hold a valid UK driving licence (minimum 2 years)
  • Maintain valid business-use insurance
  • Pass our verification process including DBS check
  • Maintain a vehicle that meets our standards

Drivers are independent contractors, not employees. You are responsible for your own taxes, National Insurance, and vehicle expenses. We do not provide employment benefits or guarantee minimum income.

7. Payments & Fees

ItemGo operates on a transparent commission model. Commission rates are clearly displayed before a driver accepts any job. There are no hidden fees.

Customer payments are processed securely through Stripe. Driver earnings are paid weekly via bank transfer.

How and when you are charged

When you book, no money is taken from your card. You enter your card with Stripe and authenticate it with your bank; Stripe stores a secure reference to it. ItemGo never receives or stores your card number. Depending on your bank, you may see a small temporary check appear and disappear — that is the verification, not a charge.

You are charged when a driver accepts your booking. By booking, you authorise ItemGo to take that payment from the saved card on your behalf at that moment, without you needing to confirm it again. This is a one-off payment for the service you booked — ItemGo does not take recurring or subscription payments from this card.

If no driver accepts your booking, nothing is charged. The booking is cancelled and you owe nothing.

The amount is the total shown to you in the app immediately before you confirm the booking. It is made up of the service price, any charges that apply to the addresses you gave (for example congestion or toll charges), and any tip you choose to add. The tip is a separate payment you make yourself and can be any amount you want.

If you cancel: cancelling before a driver accepts costs you nothing. If you cancel after a driver has accepted, a cancellation charge may apply to cover the driver's time, and the amount will be shown to you before you confirm the cancellation.

If a payment fails or your bank asks you to confirm it, we will tell you in the app and you can approve it or use another card. We keep a record of your agreement to these payment terms, as Stripe requires.

8. Prohibited Activities

  • Transport illegal goods, drugs, weapons, or stolen property
  • Harass, abuse, or discriminate against other users
  • Use fake accounts or impersonate others
  • Attempt to circumvent our payment system
  • Use the Service for any fraudulent purpose

9. Intellectual Property

ItemGo and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ITEMGO TECHNOLOGY LTDand are protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at any time for breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or other violations. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ITEMGO TECHNOLOGY LTD shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
